Key Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be responsible for supervising mechanical activities related to barrage gate systems and hydraulic infrastructure. Daily duties include reviewing engineering drawings, monitoring fabrication quality, coordinating installation activities, ensuring workplace safety, and preparing technical reports. The role also involves inspecting mechanical assemblies, identifying technical issues, supporting commissioning operations, and collaborating with civil, electrical, and hydraulic engineering teams to achieve project milestones.
Applicants should also have experience handling heavy mechanical equipment, lifting operations, alignment procedures, and quality control during installation and dismantling work. Maintaining compliance with HSE standards and ensuring timely project completion are essential responsibilities.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should possess one of the following qualifications:
- BE Mechanical Engineering
- DAE Mechanical Engineering
Candidates must have several years of relevant professional experience in barrage projects, dams, hydropower developments, or other major infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of gate fabrication, hoisting mechanisms, welding inspection, and mechanical systems is highly desirable.
